Use：Measurement in clays of undrained shear strength and sensitivity.

Standard：

Field vane shear test are the most widely used method for measuring the undrained shear strength and sensitivity of cohesive soils. The tests have been done with the Geotech or Nilcon vane apparatus for nearly forty years all over the world in various soil conditions and climates.

The apparatus is provided in two versions, with a vane protection and protection tubes (SPT tubes) in accordance with the Eurocode, or without protections. Both versions come with an electrical instrument for applying and recording the torque and slip-coupling.

● Precision field van apparatus, accuracy <1% FS
● Two models available:
    * Standard, without vane protection.
    * Eurocode, with vane protection.
● Digital recording of the shear loading curve.
● Measuring range: 0-50 kPa, 0-100 kPa and 0-200 kPa
